About Me

• Native English accent coach and elocution and accent reduction/accent softening teacher as well as a trained actor from one of the UK's top drama schools - The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. 

• Acting work includes work for BBC Television and BBC Radio 4.

• Neutral Accent and Excellent Communication Skills 

• A large understanding of the difference between a range of accents and the ability to do over 25 different accents convincingly. 

• This in turn aids a complete understanding of how accents differ from each other and the ability to coach clients in an accent different from their own.

Matt Simandl

My name is Matt Simandl and I am an Actor, Elocution Teacher and Accent Coach teaching elocution, accent softening/accent reduction and accents/dialects. I teach mainly one to one and currently online only due to the current climate

At the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, I received actor, voice and speech training. There, I did a great deal of accent/dialect  and elocution work. In addition to my acting work, since leaving the school in 2008, I have been coaching people in accents/dialects and elocution and passing on what I have learnt myself.

I coach non native speakers in elocution and actors for any accent work they require for auditions or projects in TV, Film, Theatre and Radio. 

Each person I coach goes away from my sessions feeling more confident in their accent work and indeed achieving their goals of being proficient in a new sound.
